The Tbilisi Museums Union has clinched a nomination for the esteemed DASA Award, a recognition by the European Academy of Museums (EMA). This nomination positions the Union as a finalist, elevating its status on the international stage and underscoring its commitment to pioneering museum education and innovative visitor engagement strategies. The much-anticipated announcement of the award recipient is slated for a special ceremony on the evening of September 16.

The DASA Award is dedicated to identifying and honoring exceptional educational initiatives within museums throughout Europe. It places a strong emphasis on innovative methods of connecting with and captivating museum audiences while aligning educational strategies harmoniously with museum design and presentation.

At the EMA 2023 conference in Timisoara, Romania, Nini Sanadiradze, the General Director of the Tbilisi Museums Union, had the privilege of acquiring conference attendees and esteemed jury members with the Union’s revitalized museums, cutting-edge exhibition design techniques, and the association’s visionary approach to education. In her presentation, she delineated the union’s mission, educational programs, etc.
