Eter Kvirikashvili, leading BP’s social investment programs in Georgia, and Irina Khantadze, Executive Director of the Consultation and Training Center (CTC), visited the restoration and conservation scientific research laboratory situated in the Tbilisi Museums Union – Ilia Chavchavadze Literary Memorial Museum on July 20, 2023. They were hosted by Nini Sanadiradze, General Director of the Union, and Tamar Dvalishvili, restorer of the aforementioned laboratory.
As part of the “More Innovations and Public Involvement in the Tbilisi Museums Union” project, the restoration and conservation scientific research laboratory at the Ilia Chavchavadze Literary Memorial Museum has been equipped to adhere to international standards. This enhancement aims to broaden the laboratory’s scope in cultural heritage restoration and conservation, offering comprehensive services to various museums.
Funded by BP through its social investment program, this project operates in collaboration with the Center for Consultation and Training (CTC) and the Tbilisi Museums Union.
