Preserved within the manuscript fund of the Zakaria Paliashvili House-Museum of the Union of Tbilisi Museums are three distinct copies of the Mass, dated between 1895-1900. Comprising six parts each, these manuscripts, following the Catholic canon, provide a unique glimpse into the composer’s musical and spiritual exploration.

This publication serves as a curated tapestry, seamlessly weaving together exhibits and archival materials from the Zakaria Paliashvili House-Museum. This bilingual publication, presented in both Georgian and English, is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Zakaria Paliashvili’s birth, a cultural icon recognized by UNESCO. Aligned with the mission of the Tbilisi Museums Association, the book seamlessly merges traditional museum preservation with an educational dimension, catering to diverse interests and ages.

Meticulously curated material from the Zakaria Paliashvili Memorial House-Museum forms the backbone of this publication. Renowned artist-designer Nino Andriashvili contributes her creative touch to this endeavor presented with pride by the publishing house Sh.P.S. “Cézanne”.
