On January 25, the Tbilisi Museums Union – Ilia Chavchavadze Literary-Memorial Museum introduced the Tbilisi Museums Union mobile application during its traditional “Thursday“ event.
The mobile application is a pioneering initiative in the Tbilisi museum space. It not only showcases the history and educational programs of the Tbilisi Museums Association but also integrates a cognitive component, offering a new museum game for interested audiences.
This bilingual mobile application will serve as a comprehensive resource, providing information about the sequence of educational programs and details on current or upcoming events for those interested.
The Tbilisi Museums Union dedicated to the preservation of cultural heritage and the transformation of museum collections into educational resources, aligns with the goals and objectives of the United Nations for sustainable development. Since 2023, the Union has been actively incorporating modern technologies into the museum space. Under the “Museums in the Digital Age” program, a project named “More Innovation and Public Involvement in the Union of Tbilisi Museums” was implemented. As part of this initiative, a solar panel system was installed at the Ilia Chavchavadze Literary Memorial Museum by the end of 2023, funded by the program.
The bilingual mobile application of the Tbilisi Museums Association will also provide the interested audience with information about the sequence of educational programs and current or planned events.
