The literary competition ” Writing for the Teacher” was announced by the information and educational resources of the National Center for Professional Development of Teachers, the magazine “Teacher” and the Internet newspaper Mastsavlebeli.ge has completed.
The competition’s jury carefully chose ten outstanding stories, with three declared as winners. The authors of these winning stories were honored with special prizes from the National Center for Professional Development of Teachers, along with monetary awards from Liberty Bank, the competition’s partnering entity.
1st Place – Natia Rostiashili for “Bee on a branch of Barambo” – Awarded 1000 GEL
2nd Place – Tamta Dolidze for “No one will grow old in this war” – Awarded 700 GEL
3rd Place – Sofio Kublashvili for “Third Me” – Awarded 500 GEL
The Tbilisi Museums Union, one of the competition’s partners, recognized Misha Bakhsolani for the story “Climbing the Tree” as their favorite. As a special acknowledgment, Misha Bakhsolani received a unique gift package, including a one-time opportunity to utilize the presentation space at the Tbilisi Museums Union – Ilia Chavchavadze Literary Memorial Museum, a voucher for visiting various museums within the Union, and a gift set comprising publications curated by the Union.
All 10 finalists of the competition received a voucher for visiting the museums included in the Union and a gift set of the aforementioned publications.
