As part of Ilia’s Thursday, the Tbilisi Museums Union – Ilia Chavchavadze Literary Memorial Museum hosted a public lecture titled “Ilia Chavchavadze and Modern Georgia”, delivered by poet Rati Amaghlobeli.
The presenter discussed the evolution of Georgian society and the development of European values, tracing its trajectory from 19th-century Georgia to the contemporary era. Emphasizing the pivotal role of Ilia, particularly the Society for Spreading of Literacy among Georgians in these developmental phases.
