Union of Tbilisi Museums has become an institutional member of ICOM (International Council of Museums) Georgia.
ICOM has over 50,000 members from 142 countries and is the only international professional network of museum professionals and museum institutions worldwide.
The benefits of ICOM membership are:
▪️Participation in ICOM conferences and access to participation and attendance at events of ICOM partner organisations;
▪️Publications, manuals and professional standards;
▪️Participation in ICOM’s professional programs for raising the qualification;
▪️Membership card.
In 2023, 118 new members joined ICOM Georgia, of which 109 are individuals, one is institutional, and 8 are student category members.
