The Union of Tbilisi Municipal Museums due to Museum’s Days introduced the new publication “The letters from the past”. The book consists unpublished letters of ballet dancer Vakhtang Chabukiani, conductor Zakharia Paliashvili, poet Galaktion Tabidze, writer Ilia Chavchavadze, the national hero-Merab Kostava, the writer-Mikhail Javakhishvili, etc.
The letters were collected from the Union of Tbilisi Municipal Museums close stocks. They reflect the different side of significant people, their everyday worries, the unknown facts of their lives… A reader could be aware of not only the private life of “Georgian Intelligence”, but also through the letters a reader could understand the overall Georgian culture and history.
The design belongs to Nino Andronikashvili.
