On November 8, 2018, following Georgia’s “On State Procurement” law, the SPA180008448 electronic tender, funded by the budget, concluded. This tender aimed to establish a multifunctional museum and educational area, along with modern exhibition spaces that adhere to international standards after the renovation of the Galaktion Tabidze Memorial House Museum, among other developments.
Following the electronic tender SPA180008448 held in April 2019 funded by Georgia’s “On State Procurement” law, the winning company was identified. Subsequently, on May 14, 2019, the Tbilisi Museums Union – Galaktion Tabidze Memorial House Museum started rehabilitation work.
The project aims to restore and repair the museum’s memorial space while ensuring the preservation of both the house museum’s commemorative aspects and meeting the museum’s functional requirements. Oversight of the rehabilitation works will be carried out by the project authors’ team and the Collections and Funds Service of the Tbilisi Museums Union.
