The goal of May 18th – The international museums day is to enhance the development of consciousness. The day was established in 1977 by the International Council of Museums. Due to the day, the international council selects the specific topic for the year. This year’s theme is Museums as the cultural hubs: The future of Tradition.
The Union of Tbilisi Municipal Museum from 17thtill 25th of May will host various programs, presentations and the events carry due to the “Museums’ night”. Besides the night activates The union of Tbilisi municipal museum invites the visitors on the daytime educational programs.
