The Tbilisi Museums Union recently acquired a valuable photo-documentary collection by Ruben Akofov, containing the printed editions of Nikoloz Baratashvili. This collection also features a wealth of photographs capturing old Tbilisi connected to Nikoloz Baratashvili, showcasing his house and scenes related to the Orbelian family.
The photo-documentary collection notably includes footage of the transfer of Nikoloz Baratashvili’s remains from the Didubi Pantheon to the Mtatsminda Pantheon of Georgian writers and public figures, a significant moment captured on October 15, 1938.
