The 200th anniversary of Nikoloz Baratashvili’s birth was listed by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a culturally significant event in 2017.
The Tbilisi Museums Union is coordinating an event for the inauguration of the Nikoloz Baratashvili Memorial House Museum, marking the poet’s 200th anniversary. The house museum underwent rehabilitation works and reconfigured its exhibition spaces. They’ve integrated modern museography techniques, utilizing creative industries and 3D animation for the first time in the exhibition area. The re-exposition initiative aims to introduce culture to the wider public and promote the legacy and creative works of Nikoloz Baratashvili using contemporary museography. This endeavor aims to captivate the audience by employing diverse industrial methods of animation, making the presentation engaging and appealing to viewers.
