On the exhibition which was dedicated to the 90 years anniversary of Zakaria Paliashvili`s opera “Latavra”, daughter of Tamar Lapiashvili, Jhuna Lapiashvili gave the materials from private collection of her mother about opera “Latavra” to The Union Of Museums – Zakaria Paliashvili Memorial House – Museum.
Tamar Lapiashvili (1910-1992)
Tamar Lapiashvili graduated Tbilisi State conservatoire faculty of Vocal in 1931. She sung on the Conservatoire opera scene: Countess (1934, Mozart “The Marriage of Figaro”), Eter (“Abesalom da Eteri”); In addition Georgian Classic opera, she sung almost all the newest Georgian Operas. She was honored to sung on the funeral ceremony of Z. Paliashvili. In 1935-1967 she was the guiding soloist in Georgian National Opera and Ballet Theater (named in honor of Zakaria Paliashvili).
Tamar Lapiashvili also sung romances: Chopin, Mozart, and Beethoven. Vocal cycle: Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Rubinstein and etc…
