The Tbilisi Museums Union – Nikoloz Baratashvili Memorial House Museum was inaugurated on December 4, 2017, marking the poet’s 200th birthday following extensive rehabilitation efforts. The re-exposition aims to introduce and promote the legacy of Nikoloz Baratashvili to the wider public by utilizing diverse cultural tools, including animation techniques.
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze highlighted the significance of modern technological features like 3D animation incorporated into the renovated museum.
In 2017, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) acknowledged the 200th anniversary of Nikoloz Baratashvili as an event of international significance.
