The publication “Ilia’s Tbilisi” narrates the love story between Ilia Chavachavadze and Tbilisi, capturing the essence of Tbilisi news, urban chronicles, and the city’s various initiatives.
Beyond safeguarding museum values, the primary goal of consolidating Tbilisi museums is to delve into the research aspect of transmitting cultural heritage across generations.
This book is the fourth installment in the series of publications by the Union of Tbilisi Museums, titled “Tbilisi.”
The preceding three editions, namely “Galaktioni and Tbilisi,” “Ilia and Tbilisi,” and “Nikoloz Baratashvili and Tbilisi,” are already familiar to the public.
The content within “Ilia’s Tbilisi” stems from the Iliavchavadze Literary-Memorial Museum’s collection at the Union of Tbilisi Museums.
The artistic design is credited to Nino Andriashvili, while the photographs are contributed by Mirian Kiladze and Nata Abashidze-Romanovskaya.
