On February 25, on the 100th anniversary of the Soviet occupation of Georgia, the Kote and Soso Tsereteli Memorial House-Museum of the Tbilisi Museum Union was inaugurated by the Ambassador of the Holy See, Dean of the diplomatic corps in Georgia, Archbishop Jose A. Betancourt, The Chancellor of the Holy See Monsignor Giuseppe Latertza and Attaché Jaba Gabitashvili visited Georgia Monsignor Giuseppe Latertza and attaché Jaba Gabitashvili.

The guests got acquainted with the exhibition concept of the museum, which is an attempt to restore the era of the eighties, to show the contradictory socio-moral picture that preceded the collapse of the Soviet Empire in Georgia.

The guests viewed the materials related to the life and work of Konstantine Tsereteli, the freedom fighter’s freedom-preserved artist, the founder of Hebrew-Aramaic in Georgia, Soso Tsereteli, and the famous Georgian Orientalist in Georgia.

The guests were hosted by the General Director of the Tbilisi Museums Union, Nini Sanadiradze.
