Digital reality and the development of technology have changed a lot in the world. The role of museums in modern society has also changed – from an enclosed space it has been transformed into an institution with an open, scientific, educational and cultural function.
The role of museum staff in the protection and display of cultural heritage is immeasurable – it is especially important that these people are associated not only with status, but also with emotional and personal experiences with the exhibits preserved in museums. It is narratives based on these emotions and experiences that become a reliable source of museum awareness for the public.
To this end, from September 23 to October 10, a workshop on “Creative Writing” was held for the staff of the Union of Museums. Numerous novel-narratives were created within the workshop. Combining informative and emotional elements.
The workshop was conducted by Professor Tsira Barbakadze.
