In The Union of Museums – Ilia Chavchavadze Literary-Memorial Museum was started full rehabilitation works by Tbilisi City Hall and Tbilisi Development Fund.
In this Museum there is protected various materials related to Ilia Chavchavadze life and work: memorial objects, private archives, different additions of his works, also literature dedicated to his work and life: scientific works, monographs, articles, essays, documentary and photo materials and more..
Ilia Chavchavadze was lived with his wife in Tbilisi, Iv. Javakhishvili ave. N7, in his sister Elisabed Chavchavadze-Saginashvili house 1888-1901. This house is connected with Ilia Chavchavdze public and political work and life. Also in this house was house-printing of “Iveria”.
