On 6 October of 2017 The Union of Tbilisi Museums in Z. Paliashvili Memorial House-Museum was held presentation of one of the important publication in the history of The Union of Tbilisi Museums.
The publication “ZAKARIA PALIASHVILI LIFE AND WORK” is dedicated to the famous Georgian musician, composer, conductor, teacher and national musician school founder- Zakaria Paliashili’s life and work.
On publication is unknown in general public personal letters, rich photos and archive material. Book is unit The Union of Tbilisi Museums – Z. Paliashvili Memorial House-Museum in the foundation protected exhibits, „Georgian National Archive“ material and “Korneli Kekelidze Georgian National Centre of Manuscripts” and researches which is published in the Georgian periodic.
The publication includes Tamar Belashvili’s and Gvantsa Ghvinjilia’s still unpublished research monographs about Zakaria Paliashvili, also in publication are articles by Titsian Tabidze, Ekaterine Buchukuri, Marina Kavtaradze, Nino Koridze, Manana Akhmeteli and Maka Khardziani. Such a scale research publication is first published about Zakaria Paliashvili.
“ZAKARIA PALIASHVILI LIFE AND WORK” is bilingual publication which is in its form, content and meaning is a landmark survey. The edition aims to share the importance of the life and work of Zakaria Paliashvili and the exhibition of important examples of cultural heritage, which is kept in museum funds and archival materials.
