“KVACHI KVACHANTIRADZE” IN TURKISH – MEETING WITH FARNA – BEKA CHILASHVILI

In The Union Of Museums – Zakaria Paliashvili Memorial House – Museum on 12th April held a meeting with Farna – Beka Chilashvili, who is the translator of Mikheil Javakhishvili`s roman “ Kvachi kvachantiradze”. He is one of the most interesting person in modern Turkish Literature, famous prosaist, poet and essayist, translator and public figure. Georgian reader knows Beka Chilashvili for his prosaic and poetic collections such as: “border thoughts”, “while it is snowing” and others… He also, translated Georgian well known writers romans such as: Otar Chiladze – “A Man Was Going Down the Road”, Nodar Dumbadze – “ The Sunny Night”,  Erlom Akhvlediani – “Mosquito in the City”, David Turashvili – “Jeans Generation”.

Georgian academics: Lela Tsiqarishvili, Guram Batiashvili and Baghatur Arabuli talked about Mikheil Javakhishvili, his roman “Kvachi Kvachantiradze” and general Georgian literature in Turkish language.
